Has a .25 inch inset of the lip on top and bottom to fit within the metal lantern
globe holder. The bottom diameter is 6 inches from the outside glass edge to the
outside glass edge. The inside diameter within the glass edge is 5.75 inches.
The midsection is pot bellied and the largest diameter is 9 inches.
The top inner diameter is 5.25 inches.
Both top and bottom inner rims are rough with minor flea flecks from being used in a street lantern.
These rough spots can be sanded out easily. There are no cracks or breaks or
marring other than the original glass making marks, air bubbles and creases.
It weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces. This globe has a metal tension and lift wire around
the bottom. This is blown glass from the late 1800's and the lantern it was used
in were often known as platform lamps. Candle & greens not included.
